Prominent members of the House of Vestin have been serving the church of Abadar for generations. The ties between House Vestin and the church of Abadar are clouded in mystery but Lorenz’s service was a significant blow to the family. His political and economic prowess have been unmatched for generations. His exact service to the church is only known to a select few. The family leaders as well as a select number of ranking church officials know of his role as auditor.
The Auditor is an independent agent of the Church of Abadar. He is tasked to seek out taxes and wealth from those who may work around the traditional bureaucracy. In order to do this he has worked independently most of his career and by necessity maintains a level of moral ambiguity. There is little to no oversight from the church as long as he continues to produce results. For the most part he refrains from collecting the “taxes” himself, though sometimes it is a necessary complication.
Lorenz is a 6’ 2” inches, handsome with aquiline noble features and dark hair. His presence is reminiscent of the kings of old and his ancestry is undoubtedly noble.
Aven – Thank goodness for Aven. Without him I would have to deal with more of the riff-raff than I already do. He has saved my life several times and I gladly return the favor. While he can be cold (likely related to his skin tone and temperature of his blood) he has more of sense of humor than I would have thought. Plus he drank a dragon under the table… there is always a place for that guy.
Goethe – What to say about Goethe. He is who he is. And who he is, is never dull. While his attitude can cost us in many situation his skill set more than makes up for it. Plus every great play needs a straight man.
Myrrh – I officially know the least about who Myrrh is… I never would let a little mystery stop me from liking him. I realize he is not a good man but that doesn’t stop him from being entertaining and a worthy team member. I have picked up a decent amount of skill from the man, hopefully I can return the favor.
Reskafar – I have officially begun to call him captain… Who would have thought that I would ever be calling the little monster captain. I can’t deny his abilities and as far as this group goes, he has a sense of loyalty and morality. While they are odd they fall in line with mine more than a little.
Gradon’s Foley – While “only” a ship I have grown increasingly fond of the Foley. I realize it has a mind and is sentient but it has only shown rudimentary emotions. I hope to become closer with the ship in case of emergencies, it would be good to know I could influence it in a pinch.
Tebrilith – Officially one of us. Who know the lying thieving pirate would become a loyal crew member… All we had to do was save her life, twice. Truthfully I liked her from the get go and she has kept the trip entertaining to say the least.
Kaledith – The honorable Lady Kaledith. A more tenacious money counter I will never meet. Even Proctor Imika of the church would be in awe of her. If she wasn’t already spoken for recruiting her for the church would allow me to retire early.
Hellig – Good ole Hellig. A more loyal servant could not exist. While our relationship began a bit rough… the whole stabbing followed by the beating.. we have grown close. Without him this trip would be entirely uncivilized. It important to maintain a sense of propriety even when on a reckless adventure.
